They lost a receiver. We lost a decoy. Fisher wasn't quite intelligent enough to put Moss on the field on passing downs.

They both were uniforms & helmets and run around with an inflated piece of rubber egg.

    Today.

And mostly thanks to a single play he saved that was broken leaving a WR wide open. But he at least got it there and stayed with it. I was impressed.

He had 5 less yards than Jake. 8 of 14 or so... not so bad.

Minnesota has a better team. Pro Bowl is garbage. Jared Allen is a true All Pro. As well as Kevin Williams, A. Pete and Steve Hutchinson.

We have Chris Johnson and Bironas as the only true All Pros.

Jared Allen is past his prime. His performance was weak last year. I'll take Jason Jones over Jared Allen right now.

Minnesota could finish dead last in their division this season, so that it saying alot. As what was said, Jared Allen is past his prime (hey, we have Bruce Matthews and Mike Munchak, weren't they All Pros also??), and Steve Hutchinson is getting long in the tooth.

It is hard to say at this point, but I think we looked much better than I was expecting last night. That said, proof in the pudding is September, as you say.

To compare, I would compare Locker to J.Cutler. The reason is in college , neither player had anything around them, they were forced to do everything. That is why I think sometimes USC and Texas players may struggle in the league at times. They are surrounded by great talent and their team generally, has more talent than the other team. Cutler and Locker were one man shows in major conferences, on less than great teams. Point is they elevated the players around them.
