Five Reasons Soccer is beginning to grow on me:

    1) NO TIMEOUTS/Challenges
    2) No annoying capital one commercials every 10 mins. Infact, the only commercials are during halftime.
    3) Play never stops.. Unlike most American sports, where you have 3 time outs and intentional fouls by each team in the last 2 mins of the game which causes the game to last an extra hour.
    4) Passionate Fans, Announcers and Players
    5) A Global Game that Discriminates Against No-One

    on the other hand:

    no tackles!
    no cheerleaders
refs suck and can rob you many more than in football since there are no challenges and refs don't look the review.
lots of "acting" to try to get a yellow card for another player, lose time or force a penalty kick.

Oh, there are tackles. lol Just not as good as nfl tackles. Fernando (brazil) was turned for a flip just the other day.
The flopping is annoying. But a lot of times sometimes it seems like it was nothing, and on the replay you'll see a cleat to the calf or something similar.

I wish the nfl would take note on less stoppages, and all. Even if they had to put sponsors on the jerseys like soccer clubs do.

0-0 SA and Brazil right now.
