Everyone knew the Bengals were going to take Hall even if Revis was still on the board. Hall was their guy. It's who they wanted.

But you're right. Either way, we wouldn't have a problem at corner right now.

I did a little research because I was very concerned Cortland would get taken for a ride and kept busy while the other WR torched our weaker corners. But looking into the schedule I found out that other than facing the Texans(1) and Colts(2) we only have to face four other top 10 passing offenses all year. Do the math and we're playing ten games against good passing teams. At first I was thinking every game but the Raiders, and Chiefs were against top flight teams. But in reality the Steelers are without their Super Bowl MVP WR and starting QB. Besides Steve Smith, the Giants aren't too scary. The Broncos only have Royal if he's even worth worrying about. The Cowboys however do make me feel uneasy. They have three productive receiving threats, and were the 6th best passing team. The Eagles are without their franchises best QB, so Jackson & Maclin wont be as good. The Chargers have their big guy Jackson and a top 5 passing attack. Besides the last month of the regular season I'm easing into this idea of Cortland mimicking Revis in shutting down the oppositions top pass catcher. It seems like the way to go right now.
