Maybe he was scouting that safety
We might not even have to move that far up to land Bridgewater, he had a very unimpressive Pro Day
Trade down and Take Jimmy G
Louisville is a hot program right now. ...and a day trip from Nashville. It'd be crazy not to go to that pro day.
Oh, hey, a CJ thread. Great.
A first for CJ is wishful thinking, at best.... (even we are talking about switching in round 1 and trading him to move up a bit).
Heck if we could somehow get a pick in the 3rd (that we lost last year) for CJ, i'd be ecstatic. Elite LBs and RBs can be found in the third round.
Louisville has a couple of players we could be scouting.
I fully expect CJ to be gone, but wouldn't be surprised if he does come back. The closer we get to the draft, the better they will understand the RB and where they could be drafted. If they don't like what they see with the position they could be drafted and where we are, CJ could be back. No way we get rid of him before we have a solid game plan to replace him
If any team makes that trade with us it will have to be a team that meets these requirements.
1) has nothing to gain from picking high in the Draft so why not take a chance.
(and no other team willing to trade for their spot with real value)
2) has room on their team for a #3 rb
3) has a war room similar to the jags.
4) has secretly hired Fisher as a personnel advisor
5) or has a coaching staff that is jelly of VY's Wonderlick score.
If that team exists, I say go for it!
I don't have any idea. It wouldn't surprise me a bit that they don't, but I can also imagine them wondering if they could find a fit for him, and what his current true value is. They just gave a PR $4M a year. What is CJ3.9ypc worth?
A PR who also gets 50 receptions a year
