sorry to keep arguing with you, but they are pretty different. Sometimes 5 techniques have outside containment responsibility, and that's something a 3 technique DT will almost never have. That's a whole different animal, and a different skill set.

 

Starks is going to get good money. I would rather pay Casey and get him locked up long term than Starks. They really are very similar players. Starks had his chance as a Titan and was too immature to handle the NFL. Can't blame him because he was one of the youngest guys in the draft the year he came out. I'm glad he has been able to turn things around.
