My kicking skills are about as good an any AFL players. I'd guess that 85 - 90% of people who play local football in Australia are as good, if not better, than AFL players.

People who make the AFL are not there because of their skills at kicking, heck half of them can't even kick with their opposite foot, yet you will find heaps who can at the local level. Anyone can kick a football with enough practise and marking one with no pressure is simple. I know you don't get it because you don't play or probably not even see the sport but it is simple.

They're there due to being GREAT athletes. Something you're probably not.

And no. No, not 85-90% of people who play local football in freaking Australia are as good... not even a QUARTER as good.

You're typically the rational one, but you're in the deep end on this one.

The less talented NFL and AFL players are still FAR more talented than the average joe that thinks he can kick a ball far.

You don't know the first thing about AFL so I suggest you stop right there before looking foolish.

In that case- maybe. No idea. I'm sure any reject football player here could do that though. If they could come here and make 500k (at least) a year, I'm sure they'd give it a go. And we'd be recruiting them, also. But nope...
