Stevens does not make or break this team. As long as priority means "Stevens signs a Titans favorable deal" then all is well.

He should not get a nickle over minimum IMO, but hes worth that and the roster slot

Yeah TEs that can run a 4.59 40 and whom are one of the best blocking tes are just a dime a dozen. He had a few big plays thus year when Locker played. He has good hands and does well after the catch.

He is a good player who has been underutilized in this offense. He was worthy of a third round pick. But was stubbornly placed behind a scrub like Scaife because of Fisher and his boneheaded loyalty to average vets.

 

The problem is... our FO is making a note to talk about how much of a priority it is to sign 3rd round busts like Stephens... yet no word about Finnegan??

We'd never even notice if Stephens wasn't on the roster next year- let's be honest.
