With Faggins and Davis both cut, we must be expecting other teams to cut some DB's that our FO feels will be better depth....

At least I hope so anyway...We may see how good VY is as a DB if our secondary gets riddled with injuries this season...:grrhee:

Not sad at all to see P.W. get cut. Deuces, holla at ya. Mark Jones, won't miss you either. Faggins, well do I really need to say anything, this dude just had it coming to him.

Does anybody think we might keep Chris Henry?

I'm not really suprised with the Faggins cut, he's dissapointed all camp and gameday... I'm wondering who we'll add for depth.

I gotta agree with that. A DB with return ability would be ideal. And then add Matt Jones for that WR spot that Williams and Mark Jones are leaving open. Then we'll be in good shape on those fronts.

i think we keep henry. he's pretty good at kick return defense and i think he is the best option for kick returner right. now. hopefully his play from yesterday can translate onto the field. and if not. then ringer could do returns. im not worried.

I like that idea. For some reason I find myself rooting for Henry. It seems like he tries hard, while Paul Williams just cruised through everything. That's probably not true at all, but that's the image in my mind at least.

I hope he makes it, and if he can take that hit from Reid (I was there to see it BTW) and can hold on to the ball, he is bulletproof.

I feel the same way about Henry. While he hasn't been anything close to stellar like we have liked, he gives his all. He's got great heart and I always find myself rooting for guys like this. I really hope that he turns it on. And like you said, he took that hit like a champ.

We could keep just 5 WRs if Washington is close to coming back and use the roster spot on DB depth that can also help on STs. We also have Mouton hurt and just cut Faggins.

Bruce Davis, LB from UCLA got cut from the Steelers. This dude was a stud, but the Steelers are so deep at LB. He's surely better than Fowler or another of our backup LBs. He is an OLB though.
