D. D. Lewis to visit Titans

    Free agent LB Lewis to visit Titans

    Staff Writer

    Free agent linebacker D.D. Lewis will visit the Titans on Friday.

    The University of Texas product spent each of his four NFL seasons with the Seattle Seahawks.

    He's started 17 games and made 137 tackles. He spent the 2004 season on injured reserve and finished last season on IR.

    One of my all time least favorite University of Texas players. Great "locker room guy" but no instincts on the field. However, he has actually received some decent LB coaching in the league and improved a lot. Could be a decent backup. He is pretty athletic, but he wont scare anyone.

    Why do we keep bringing in MLBs??? We have Tulluch, and Nande on PS. Fowler who we signed that happens to be worse than Tulluch probably will be as a 2nd year player. This team is bananas. B-a-na-na-s.

    I want Tulluch to get a freaking chance, just like Lendale, but the more I see, the more I see people less willing to let them get a chance

    Tulluch can play inside. Outside LB is harder anyway.

    We already have 7 or 8, don't we, without adding anymore. Guess this means we're not going to draft any linebackers this year.

    Nande
    Amato
    Toone?

    Somebody's gone. Hope it's Toone and Reynolds before Nande. Nande was the last physical freak at the position in the draft when we took him, but he's looking like the Ben Troupe of linebackers so far, without the high investment.
