Russ Grimm may be the most underrated coach signing we've had.

That combined with an actual team identity, some improved talent, and improvement by Marcus is putting us on the exact path I hoped we'd be on - I'm just shocked we're actually on it.

This is the first time we've been .500 6 weeks into the season since 2013. That was when Locker went down and Fitzpatrick kept finding ways to lose us games.

 

In our 6 games so far, we've played 4 of the bottom 7 defenses. Not something we should be getting too awfully excited over. At least it shows we are moving the ball against bad defenses though. We just need to finish more drives.

 

All that is true but it still came down to hanging on at the end and a stupid call by the other coach.....

 

I'm withholding judgement until we beat a legitimate team.

The AFC is so bad right now, who knows what's going on. Even Aaron Rodgers sucks this year.

 

Relatively speaking

 

All three of our losses are to teams with winning records. We only have 2 more opponents all year with winning records.

 

You play the schedule you're given. Sure, we beat bad teams, that's fine. We also gave the Vikings everything they could handle and had wins slip away against Houston and especially Oakland(Lewan penalty). If we win our next two against Indy and Jacksonville, is still nothing to write home about? Just because they're not good? Oh well, you beat the teams you're told to play and that is what we are doing.
