Dan Koppen released by Patriots.

How in the holy hell can they be HAPPY with our centers?

 

Lame.

 

It's as if they are in denial of this...

 

Both our current centers would probably grade out at or at the very least near the very bottom of all the starting centers in the league.

Granted new england dropped Koppen and are in need of a center themselves, so obviously they must know something here - but he did help block bradys middle for a long time.

Kevin Mawae was pretty darn solid as a leader and a blocker even into his late 30s for us. - so why the hell is munch being so hard headed about this?!

Any monkey can see the titans line is performing below average ever since munch took over the reigns seemingly - with fisher we had some of the best lines in the league every year!

Which goes to show how strange this is considering munch ANd oline coach matthews are stinkin hall of famers! How can they be so blind about this?!

Will kopen change our line from below average to average? Probably not drastically but cmon velasco and matthews?! Cmon munch you should see this more than anyone!!

Looks like us titan fans will have to suffer though this oline crap until somethin drastic happens or when someone in the titans organization pulls their heads outta ....

 

Hmmmm........we bring in a first string C and what happens to the new 3rd string C.............

I'm not claiming nepotism here but it does look really bad.

 

Center is the least important position on the Oline.. no worries.

To be fair, it's not like Koppen is some superstar. It's quite possible he's done.

 

No arguments there. If Munch came out and said "Koppen sucks" I'd have no problem. But to come out and say "We're happy with our Centers? WTF?"

 

Im not sure Koppen is an upgrade over Velasco.
