David Cobb

In 2 years I hope none of these RBs are on the roster.

 

The carries that cobb had, I thought he looked better than what we've been used to. With some more reps and an improved OL, who knows.

 

In 2 years i think cobb and fowler will be the only ones left. I think fowler stays on this team for 8+ years. Cobb will end up a rotation guy, imo.

 

He had a couple of decent runs last week.

Hard to say much about a guy after missing so much time and only playing in 2 games. I'm sure he will get better...but not sure there's anything special about him.

 

so boring. him and andrew are basically the same player. Their "big" runs are 10 yard stumbles. Need new players for sure.

 

A worst version of Andrews.

Sad. Out of the 4 running backs, one a 2nd round first RB taken, a 5th round pick, a free agent, and a undrafted guy. The UDFA is the best one of the bunch.

Both Cobb and Andrews could be good backs in the league, but they just don't have the jets to be a complete NFL back. Sankey should be traded at the end of the season. Hopefully a really RB needy team like the Cowboys will trade a late rd pick for him, or something. They may just wait until he's cut.

As for Fowler, I'd like to see him used as a H-back, where he can also play up on the line to help block and run the occasional shallow route. We just don't use the FB much in this offense, and maybe a lot less in the next HC's system.
