With Pac gone for a while, I think this guy would be a bit of a reach in the second but well worth a third if he falls to us.

Maybe in the 3rd but he doesn't fit our scheme. He would be ok in a cover 2 scheme to compensate for his lack of speed.

Some pundits say he's the best cover corner, but I just can't see it with that speed. That's just soooo slooooow for a CB. I'd play him at nickle. If we picked him, I'd wish he was as good as originally thought. Dagnabbit, though, 4.65 is still 4.65.

I'd probably still take him over Marcus McCauley, however.

Cover skills are different from pure, straight line speed. The difference? Speed is speed, cover skills are, well, a skill. You can have one without the other.

Would you take him, Kami, and when?

He is strictly a cover-2 CB.

I hope we switch to the cover-2 because that is the smart thing to do now that we don't have a single proven cover CB. The cover-2 is such a better scheme from a cap standpoint. We already have the speed LBers to fit the scheme.

I'd take him, and in the 3rd. He's not a need skill player to me, but is worth a 3rd IMO.
