Ikaika Alama-Francis, DE Hawaii............This aint Travis LaBoy folks..........this is Russ Francis son..........the NE pat TE and his son is one of my sleeper guys who might rise to a first rounder after Indy. He has monster stats and great college film and his numbers will be freakish.........

6'6 290 lbs, is expected to run between a 4.6-4.8 forty. Crazy athleticism, is a former basketball player for the Rainbows. Is very strong, and has the measurebles to be the second coming of JPeppers or Bruse Smith....................... A player we should be taking a hard look at. And no, he's not another JAG.............the guy actually has pretty good skills despite not playing football for long....................He's really only been playing organized football for the last 3 years and he is a former basketball star.............he is coached by Jerry Glanville at UH who said he is the hardest working player he has ever coached........................just wait til you see him play and the numbers he puts up at INDY

Sounds too good to be true. However, his skills/measurables may translate well to the college game, it might not in the pros. What were his numbers over the past 3 years?

I like the sound of him. It would be nice to have two high motor guys in him and KVB. We'd be set at DE for awhile. We need some DT depth, but we don't need one in the first. With Rien Long back, our interior will improve i think.

EDIT: Bongo, if he did perform like everyone predicts he will at the combine, and he did ultimately project as a first rounder - would he be a reach at 19 or a perfect grab?

He will really fly under the radar now that he tore his pectoral muscle in the hula bowl. They are trying to decide whether he needs surgery or can just rest it. Either way I'd say he is out for the combine.
