Delanie Walker: "Don't draft another Rookie OL."

We should always take BPA most rounds... But it depends on how FA goes. If OL is still depleted, it's going to force our hand.

 

Im saying we have to many holes to draft for need. We control out r own destiny. He have an unbelievable about of money available for FA.

 

Depends on health, I've been around long enough to remember a few good pairings at OT for the Oilers/Titans. I'll tall you this much, if we don't figure out how to protect Mariota he's going to be spoken in the same breath with David Carr and Jake Locker... I understand people want SEXY, doesn't means that's the right choice. Laremy Tunsil is considered the BEST prospect in the entire draft. Ya take the best players possible especially when it's a position of need.

 

OL is the exception though... Mariota's health is the most important thing. Have to protect him. If we don't do well adding OL in FA, I'm afraid we're gonna take Tunsil.

 

I'm with Delaine. Sign a RT, maybe a center also. Draft Bosa, turn are good front 7 to great. Should help the secondary if we're getting better pressure, but CB/FS still would need to be addressed.

 

We need a vet's on the line to keep the young guys in check. Lewan was suppose to be that guy, but he has some issues with his game that he needs to fix so its too much for him now. I'm tired of this OL shuffling, busted picks, and worthless free agents. I hope whoever is hired, for gm, does their homework and finds solid free agents this year.

Still want Bosa over Tunsil myself

 

T.J. Clemmings, Andrus Peat, Joe Thomas and a whole bunch of others would counter your argument. Look, the point is it all depends on what we do in FA. If we don't address it there we must address it in the draft. Go read what they say about Tunsil. And again if they don't figure out how to protect Mariota his career will be short lived. Does anyone here really Cincinnati or Seattle will allow their tackles to hit FA? Because after those 2 it starts to thin out quickly.
