DeMarco: "I'll mentor Derrick Henry"

Seems like he's trying to shed the image he gained while in Philly. I like it.

 

He is jumping on the "team first" brigade. Friends, we may be entering a distinguishably new Titans Era. Let's embrace it! It could be great!

 

What does everyone expect him to say? Of course he doesn't like the pick. No player in their right mind wants to see their team draft a player high who plays their position. Players don't want to be seen as jerks either, so they say what everyone wants to hear.

 

He's 28 and has a ton of carries throughout his career. He probably knows Henry can extend his career by taking less punishment and keep him fresh during the season. He had no problem being a jerk in Philly warranted or not.

 

Teach him to have quicker feet.

 

If it wasnt an issue, then why did Mularkey feel the need to make the call? Murray is just trying to get people to believe it doesn't bother him. Let's see how he reacts once the season starts, and Henry eats into his carries.

 

Forget Thunder and Lighting... Just go flat out Thunder, and more Thunder... Bring the boom, break defenses lol

More to the point though, I'm all for physicality and a solid run game, but MM defintely still needs to be the focus - but more protected and augmented with a solid line and run game respectively, but he's too good of a QB to not be the focal point of our offense.
