    Not shocked by it. There's been some shocking retirements, but this isn't really a shocker.

    Sucks to see him leave the game, because he has always been a supreme class act that was absolutely amazing on the field.

    One of the greats, indeed.

    We had an all American tackle at Marshall. My introduction to Mr. Ware was him giving that tackle one of the biggest whoopings I have ever witnessed. After a while, I quit watching the game and instead watched ware "wareing" him out. I think he finished with seven sacks if I remember right.
