Demontre Moore for our 1st round pick!

Just kidding...He only benched 225 12 times...I'm only 190 lbs and I benched 225 more times than that last night....dude clearly isn't a hard worker in the weight room...He won't make it in the NFL.

On the other hand, Margus Hunt benched 225 38 times!!! at 6'8 277 lbs that is straight beastly. I'm on the bandwagon for him in the 2nd or 3rd round.

If you cant knock out more than 12 reps you better have insane speed

The difference is that Moore is really good at football. Hunt isn't.

I think the bench press is a stupid measurement of strength. It's different to be weight room strong and naturally strong. I know plenty of guys that are strong in the weight room but ask them to come on the farm and they got nothing.

Bench is a very over rated measure of strength for football anyway.

I underestimated Von Miller coming out of Texas A&M, so I will therefore hold judgement on this guy.

To be honest, he really didn't stick out like a sore thumb when I watched the new SEC boys.

Von Miller ran a 4.4 40 and benched 225 21 times...

It may be a bit overrated(just like the combine in general), but it's definitely still a measure of strength...pushing weights is a lot like pushing off blockers. benching 225 12 times is horrible...No way he fits into a 43 defense.

I think it shows dedication to excellence more than anything...and more of his lack of actually. There will be CBs that push more than that.
