That's the thing though. I feel like a good DL makes a secondary better and not vise versa.

Let's focus on making a great DL and I think that means holding off on drafting a CB.

Our first four picks are in rounds 1 to 3 and I would imagine filling these needs before CB

    OL
    DT
    DE
    S

Maybe a C, Wr, CB, Rb, MLB in the subsequent rounds

I would even wager drafting a QB on the 6th or 7th.

Honestly, I think we're set at DT... Casey, Hill, Martin, Klug are a solid 4 man rotation. Unless a DT falls to us in the 2nd, I think we're set. I'd rather focus on OL, DE, S, and CB with our first 4 picks.

You're watching someone different than I. Rhodes' footwork, and hips are textbook in my opinion.

The way he breaks out from his back pedal is an art.

But really... if Titans were considering a top CB... get value and go with Leon McFadden. Dude is going to be special. Reminds me of Samari.

Terry Hawthorne is my mid-round talent. 3rdC or 4th on this guy.

Really? I don't know. If we can nab a solid DT like star or Floyd wouldn't you take him?

I'd love to hear a rebuttal here...

First draft site I went to:

Now. I suppose you could say he didn't back-pedal much... because he wasn't asked to, playing man. But he certainly can. And he does it very well.

I'm mostly talking about footwork. I don't sit at home and pretend that I'm a scout and "watch film", but I do watch a decent bit of football. I watched him against NC State, Clemson, and Georgia Tech. He looking overly aggressive and would end up out of position. It might have been his instincts more that his technique, but he seemed pretty flat footed at times.
