Did Fuller's cast actually help the last int?

The cast may have helped on that one play. I once played in a game where our MLB had a club wrapped around his broken hand to protect it, and he was able to use it to his advantage thumping receivers in the chest did help that game.

 

You would think that there would be a rule against playing with a cast. Those things can be used as clubs. And given the pussification of the league as of late, I'm suprised they've let this go.

 

Nice way of putting it. I think the reason were seeing the league 'pussify' (LOL) is because now they have to answer to congress, and be held accountable to little kids that idolize NFL players. Back many years ago this didn't necessarily apply. Plus the NFL is a brand of entertainment now, so the league wants to protect their brand. Think about it; its hard to sell 'The Little Mermaid' to 3 year olds when Ariel is put on the injury report because she took a shot to the knees.

 

Maybe Ariel should have had a better pocket presence...then she might have avoided that blitzing LB.
Either that or she should have tried to become a WR instead. LOL
