    My 2 cents:

Peyton made a commercial for DTV a few years back showing a 28-3 score against a team that he has to play twice a year

If Lendale stomping on the towel was dumb than Peyton was stupid

Yeah- that is just part of it. That commercial really burned me up every time I saw it.

It was stupid and bulletin board material. What gives someone who hasn't played in the last 16 weeks the guile to jump in and stomp on the towel. GAY!

I wish it had been the one belonging to the out of town steeler supporter(like in jock strap) that was setting by me. He waved it constantly during the first half, but had it in his pocket by the end of the game. Then, with GREAT CLASS, he stomped and shredded the Titans Poster cards given out at the game.

GO TITANS!! I have to admit I enjoyed watching BUUULLLLUUUCCCKKKK, stomp the yellow rag.

I don't think it was a big deal. It's not like it hasn't happened a million times. All of the sports bobble heads said the Steelers were the best and would beat us. They were all just pissed or this wouldn't even be news. Just like that last interception Ben threw. The comentaters were apologizing for him as Griffen was going for a touchdown. They were all "that was impossible throw" " Ben made a good attempt at a tackle".

I was making tracks up I-65 to Bowling Green and the guys on Radio 104.5 were talking about the "Tea Towel Incident" for over 30 minutes. An hour later I was headed back south, to Nashville, and they were STILL at it!

I cannot believe it! This is a non-issue. It's not a college game where someone stomped on their opponent's logo. The Steelers won't get excited over it, in some future game. Motivation is different on the pro level.

I was thoroughly surprised, this evening, when one of the ESPN talking heads said it was a non-issue and that after talking to Fisher, he didn't think the subject would even be brought up with these "disgusting delinquents" (my terminology). :ha:

At first I was thinking this was a little too much. But after reading the Steelers message board, screw them. They deserve it.

So full of themselves.............I MENTALLY STEP ON YOUR TOWEL!!!!!!

Most opposing fans that come to LP are bad but the Steelers are the worst.

After the way I saw Steelers fans hitting people in the back of the head with their towels and swaering at families with little kids I was glad to see them stomp the towel. If the Steelers need a towel stomp to get motivated for a possible AFC Championship re-match...they are in big trouble. Besides, I didn't take the stomp as disrespect towards the Steelers team....it was towards some of their fans but mainly a statement towards the media who thought the Steelers would win easily over the Titans.

Does anyone know where the Titans got the towels? My guess is they were thrown at them by embarrased Steelers fans.
