He will absolutely play at some point this year. Oher isnt that good TBH, the No.8th ranked player should be able to beat out an aging and slower Oher.

    Oher is 27 years old.

I have read this about four times now.

In what ****ing world does that qualify as aging, outside of the obvious?

Winning is the best way to fill the seats, I agree.

My problem isn't that the pick wasn't sexy enough. Its the fact they just paid Oher and I understand him taking over for Roos next year, but you don't draft a LT in waiting with the 11th overall pick imo.

Also, hasn't this staff been talking about wanting a new culture and wanting high character guys in our locker room but they go and draft this *****? I don't get that either.

Then the F.O. truly screwed up in picking Oher. If they thought OT was a legit option in the 1st round, they should have held off on a good sized contract. They left plenty other positions high and dry.

And Warmack was ranked very high last year as well, and royally sucked.

Roos has another year, while this class wasn't as deep at OT as it was last year, there was still enough to grab on. We still have two prospects that may be where we pick now. I think this pick/contract could have waited.

Also Oher is going to play right tackle...this kid is supposedly a franchise LT. It is different. Our front office has said that the third best tackle on our team, that will not play much, if at all, is a better choice than Manziel.
