    Actually they are not all in 1080i...yet. Here is the listing of some of the channels and the resolution/audio format they are using:

    I have a private office account, so I don't have them all up yet. Residential accounts do though. The ones I do have look very, very nice!

    Ok, so what channels were updated YESTERDAY. I had the Espn, HDnet, local channels. Are we getting Sci Fi, Spike cartoon network, ect in?

    Yes, those were updated yesterday morning. The quality is outstanding.

    From what I understand, cable does not have the bandwidth to offer the HD content that DirecTV is. They will have to make some pretty big tech changes first, so expect it to take a while.

    Ok, let me just lay it out. How much is it monthly for this stuff? My biggest problem with leaving comcast is my internet connection, is there anything I can do about that?

    I use Bell South(At+T) and it get DSL. I believe you can get a package deal with direct tv and this. I get Direct TV CHoice package with H/D. It is like $69 -79 a month.

    Crunching the numbers today on this...

    I'm thinking using DirectTV for just the main TV which is HD. From what I can see, I need the $69.99 mo package. I would also have to purchase a $199 DVR HD box to make this work.

    This would allow me to back down my Comcast to the other TVs in the house to the $49.99 plan and the cable internet would remain the same ($43.00).

    I'm guessing after all the taxes, fees and other BS they both add, we're talking around $190 a month which is about $30 more than what I pay now.
