I've wondered that same thing myself
I think thwe waiting game is contingent upon who is on the board @ #19
PRAY that Meachum is there, if so then we might just be able to swindle AJ into something less than the swap+3rd - we might get away with just the swap

I did think about that also. They may active the "swap" trade when #18 is on the clock. That way San Diego may also be able to get who they want/need. It would also let us likely know if a good WR is available at #30 (Bowe?)

The way things are looking IMO is that when our pick comes up if Anderson or Carriker are not available and if there isn't a total stud CB or something we just can't pass on and Meachum or whoever the Chargers want is still sitting there I make the deal even if it costs us a swap and a 4th rounder.

Without the DE we want we can trade down and still get Bowe or Jarrett (or even Harrell but I think a WR will be there). It would be sweet to get Jarrett and Turner and still have our 2nd and 3rd rounders. We essentially fill two huge needs on offense and can focus on defense for the rest of the 1st day and with our left over 4th.
