I was curious of just how bad CJ really is so I went back and looked closely at each drive over the past 5 weeks.

Did you know: Chris Johnson has only picked up 16 1st downs in 5 games???? That's nuts!

Whats even crazier is this guy still has a job.

Whats going on in Nashville that we can't make a move for a real NFL RB? Trade deadline is week-9, c'mon front office!

Why is this a surprise? You can't get first downs when you're running backwards 1/5 of the time, getting hit at the line or behind it 3/5 of the time, and running into your own players the other 1/5.

I think you will have to wait until the interior of the offensive line is fixed before making an honest assessment on CJ. I think you can criticize his effort, but I don't think it is fair to try and judge his talent level at this point with our line.

Its surprising because anyone else this bad wouldn't still have a job.

Also as a team we're only averaging about 15 first downs per game and we only had NINE first downs first the chargers. I'm sure we're last in the league in first downs.

Anyone other high paid RB in the nfl that was in the same situation that CJ is right now would still have his job especially when we don't have a viable backup that has ever shown he can do it better.

We could but you and I both know that would never happen.

But why? Why do we have to suffer every single week since last season? No fans deserve this crap.

Realistically it would take a new RB a few games to get going, but thats ok cause CJ will never bounce back. He may have a good game here, a good game there vs weak teams, but that's it.
