    I use straws for my water glass onstage; lessens risk of spillage on me or guitar and keeps me from having to wrap my hand around a condensation-covered glass. Water on bass player's hands is a no-no.

    Since everyone loves straws...Do you drink your Scotch through a straw as well? Just curious? Nothing wrong with using s straw. Girlpower!
    I use the straw on any to-go cup, on anything else it just annoys me. It slows you down too.

    Cup with lid = straw. Exception is like a Tervis/Coffee cup with "sipping hole".

    Cup with no lid = no straw although I do hate the ice cube attack when the cup is almost empty.
