The only good thing I can say about MR is he's so damn cheap that when he gets fired at least we won't be left in cap hell.

Funny you mentioned Rod Smith. He was keeping the bench warm until our OC became his WR coach. Almost the same with Mason. He was barely in the game until Dinger came around.

I too like everyone else am very confused/disappointed too. Last year MR led off with Griffin, which was cool b/c it was time for LT to go, except they drafted him with the pure idea that they were going to make him a corner, and that's when I became pissed off and thoght that this guy was dumb. Now this year, in his second draft for us, I am again confused. I have no doubt that the kid can play ball, and he is obviously fast as ****, but I recall that we need a WR, and with all of the prospects of our chosing available to us when we picked it absoultely made no sense what that pick meant (probably thinking we'll make hime a WR). Then we followed with a DE?

I honestly believe that he has no clue what he's doing. He's trying to think "Outside the Box", but if he keeps avoiding the fact that we need a big playmaking WR, we'll end up, we'll you'll see.

WE WILL BE FINE IF HE TRADES UP IN THE THIRD TO GET DOUCET. We now have an extra 4th.

1st round: Top speed, productive RB. Fills explosive change of pace and backfield receiver and return guy.

2nd round: Under-rated excellent DE. Definite need

3rd round: Make certain to get Doucet- good mid and downfield with big league experience.

Leave one or two 4th's, a 5th and 7th to take fliers on other needs.

This can shape up as a good draft if we secure the last of the "first tier" WR's.

Isn't frustration at posters Gunny feels are whining also an opinion that he has the right to express?

ok, after trading up to get a guy who probably wasn't on anyone's boards (some scouting sites don't even list him)
according to the Draft broadcast, HE WASN"T EVEN ON THE NFL's LIST OF PLAYERS THE LEAGUE ANTICIPATED TO BE DRAFTED !!!

Kiper had him ranked as the 66th best DE available .... and Mike traded up for him ...... special
