Does My Bar Bet Have a Chance?

    Ok, so I want to get an idea of how good or bad my recent bar bet is. One night a few weeks ago, I was a few well 7 beers in and got into a conversation with another Titans fans about how many wins the Titans will have this year. In my drunken like state, I bet the man $20 that the Titans have a winning season so they have to get at least 9 wins for me to win.

    At this point, does my bet have a chance?

    Also, since we are talking about Titan bets in here, I also made a Vegas bet on the current line for the season record of the Titans which if you could believe it is only 6.5. I bet $100 Titans pull out at least one more win than last year with 7.

    Would you have made this bet?

    We have a good shot at 9-7, a chance at 10-6, and if everything goes perfect, we could see 11 wins.

    You should be fine... and yea, I would make that bet 9 times out of 10.

    I'm more worried that you got drunk off of only 7 beers. haha

    Just because I'm a lightweight doesn't mean I can't hold my own. Usually I'm the one who drinks the most, and I'll never throw up from beer. Add in any amount of liquor and then I'm probably done.

    7 beers would probably do me in at the moment. I had a tolerance built up, but haven't been drinking much the past year. Usually it would've been 9-10 to get me drunk and 7 would be a buzz... which is bad because I probably felt not too bad, yet I was at .3

    Seriously? Can you explain to me why you think we wouldn't have a CHANCE? We are going into week 2 of the preseason. There isn't a team in the league that doesn't have a chance of 9-7.

    As for your Vegas bet, hell ya I would have made that bet. This team is improved from last years team. The question is, how much did we improve?

    Man, when I was in college I could drink a TON before getting wasted ... I don't drink nearly as much any more, so on the occasional times that I do go out drinking its pretty shameful how little it takes for me to get buzzed now haha
