Whis won't get fired barring another absolute disaster of a season. Like 2-4 wins. Honestly I'm not even sure that would do it. They're gonna want to give him at least another year with Mariota.

Despite the record, there's no doubt the team is looking way more competitive than we've seen in years.

Get outta here with your facts.

But seriously, there's only so much a HC can do with a swiss cheese OL and weak secondary. If one should be more on the hot seat, it's RW. Drafting Mariota was a no brainier, and I like DGB, but the rest of the draft was still nothing special. This roster lacks talent, that comes from the GM. Whiz is working with what he's got.

And despite the record, this team has been competitive in every game. That's a change from years past. People wanting to axe the HC 3 games into a brand new QB after inheriting a horrible roster are just retarded.

He'll get at least one more year, and there's no reason this team shouldn't continue to improve. If anyone gets canned, it better be Webster. Have a good FA, draft a highly talented defensive starter in the first, a starting RT/LG/C in the second and fill in with late talent. Need a good GM though, which RW is not it.

    Sorry for the winded post.
