Dolphins looking to trade for RB

No way. A 6th isn't worth it. Hunter is definitely a huge disappointment. No work ethic. But we need the depth at WR. He can still make a play or two. Imagine if KW or DGB go down... we're stuck with Matthews, McBride, and a possible rookie?! Yikes. I'll take Hunter over whatever we can get from the 6th round.

Side note... I kind of wish we kept Nate Washington. I'm not as hopeful for DGBs progress as other people here because he done'st strike me as a hard worker. And who does he look up to? Hunter? Wright? I don't see the motivation. I'm not sure what kind of leadership Douglas brings to the table but having Washington around could of been a big boost for Hunter and DGB. It may not be a bad idea to bring in Boldin?

 

IDK where Boldin is in his career, he looked like he was losing it the year before last so Im assuming he's worse since..

But DGB says all the right things, maybe he is a hard worker, cant say.

As for hunter's role, he's probably the 4th or 5th WR behind Wright, DGB, Matthews, and Douglas... I dont think he's needed in this offense.

 

Forgot about a Douglas in the lineup. Still are you comfortable with: DGB, Matthews, and Douglas? or with KW, Matthews and Douglas? With our luck two WRs go down. I'd rather have Hunter than a 6th round pick. If he can muster a 5th or 4th, that's a different story. No way he's that valuable though. A 6th might actually be a stretch.

As for Boldin, it's not about his production (although he still gets open and still puts up numbers). That dude is a hard worker and tough as nails. He would be a great guy to have around for our young motley crew of receivers.

 

Boldin doesn't so much as get open as he just out fights the db for the ball. He has never been fast, but runs good routes and is great at making the contested catch. He would be a good sign to mentor young receivers and show them the "that's my ball!" Mentality.
