Uh... Luck looked awful against the Bears and looked good against the VIKINGS.

What is it about people on this board thinking every team offers the same quality of competition? That's Cow fan thinking right there.

Donnie Avery would be the 4th WR here, same as Hawkins. His production here would most likely be the same as Hawkins at the moment.

I think time will show us how NOT quality San Diego was. Especially without gates and their running back. They are about as scrub level as we are, and it should have at least been a competitive game, not a blowout.

This was not the Tomlinson,Merriman, Jackson, Neal, cromartie San Diego team that we used to know.

What does the lack of their running back have to do with Locker's performance as a QB? The Chargers aren't a quality team, but they're better than the Vikings.

    Seriously:
    Week 1:
    Locker vs. Patriots: 23/32 229 yds 1 INT 1 TD QBR 89.2
    Luck vs. Bears: 23/45 309 yds 3 INT 1 TD QBR 52.9

    Week 2:
    Locker vs. Chargers: 15/30 174 yds 1 INT 1 TD QBR 65.1
    Luck vs. Vikings: 20/31 224 YDS 0 INT 2 TD QBR 107.5

    QB Rating Comparison:
    Locker: 77.6 vs. Luck: 75.2

With Luck playing one of the worst teams in the league and Locker playing one of the best teams in the league and a mediocre team. And Locker's problem in SD was largely on the awful pass protection he was getting.

I still like Locker but our offense has been an epic disaster in both games this season. Who's fault that is is open to the jury, but to put up numbers as a WR you need your offense to be on the field and someone competent to throw you the ball. That's a fact.

It all falls on the coaches..they are the ones evaluating these players and implementing their systems.

It's the coaches job to put our players in a position to succeed and for the past 2 seasons they've failed miserably. Pathetic really.

The coaches are not sound in the game plan on both sides of the ball! Playing griffin at strong safety (when he cant play free), is stupid. We cannot run the ball since palmer got here and staying with it is stupid. Run and shoot left for a reason. But not here

You either didn't watch the entire game or are unaware that he had more yards and a higher completion percentage than Brady before getting hurt.

With a run game, Locker would be looking amazing, and no one would be complaining about him.

Also, he's going to have ups and downs. That's just part of the growing pains of NFL QBs.
