    See, Sony is dumb. Not because of this, but why'd they discontinue the 20 gig model? If they were smart, they would sell it cheap, and rack up in sales. But no, they do what they blasted 360 for doing. Make a new model and charge more.

    It wasn't the price that sony was blasting, it was the idea of releasing one system, then offering a better one shortly after. At this rate, both companies will continue to just add more to the most expensive version while never lowering the price as they should.

    Which you clearly lack because something has happened once and now you say it is happening all the time. :rolleyes:

    lowering prices is something neither of them realy can afford to do
    Sony is losing their @zz on production of the 3 (reportedly)
    and I can see why ,,,, I really think it's a phenomenal machine for $500
    until Blu-Ray catches on with the masses and the cost of the Laser comes down a bit, Sony will continue to see red

    If you really think Sony needs to lower the price, then you'd get a machine with :
    *NO Blu-Ray
    *NO Wireless LAN
    *NO Bluetooth
    *NO HDMI
    * smaller hard drives
    * weaker processors
    * inferior graphics chipsets
    * no media readers (card slots)
    * RF / Wired controllers
    * no FREE Online play / stores

    that would suck
