    This past summer I stood on a corner in Winslow, Arizona. And had my picture taken next to the flatbed Ford. Even bought a T-shirt. And I usually am not a fan of sovenir clothing.

    Eagles are the soundtrack playing down at the car dealership.

    The Doors are just Jim Morrison. Should have been called Jim Morrison and the Doors, because any garage musician could walk through the door and replace the other band members, and most likely improve the sound greatly.
    Every Eagle also had a pretty good solo career, no one but Morrison ever did crap outside the Doors.
    Their 2nd album is one of my favorite albums all the way through, I like old west outlaw stuff.
    Hotel California is as good a drug inspired song as any by the Doors.
    I didn't like The Long Run, or the James Dean song, but they have a lot of songs that are good for smoking a joint with and feeling happy, where the Doors stuff gives me a suicidal vibe.
    I choose to live with the Eagles.

    Don't like either... But Eagles are better. Doors-highly overrated, as I've said every time they've won so far.

    Like Hoffa said... Better all-around band by a big margin.
