Pretty decent stats leading up to this game. He's had one "bad" game, if you wanna call it that, all year but so far, Doug Martin has exceeded expectations outside of the performance last night.
I think RG3 will end the season injured. Luck sucks and Doug Martin will have 2,500 all purpose yards. Doug Martin = Rookie of the Year If RG3 doesn't finish the season injured, then he has the edge for POY
Well at the moment RGIII has 2000+ yards, more rushing TD's than Martin, and a 70% completion percentage, he's winning RoY.
I don't know what is more luny tune. Talking like Dough Martin is the second coming of Barry Sanders or the comment about trading CJ for a 7th round pick. Martin is averaging 77 yards per game rushijng and 32 yards per game catching the ball. That is a pace of 1753 all purpose yards. And we have comments being made he will top 2500. He is a good back but we shouldn't get carried away. Goodness. And as for CJ there is ZERO to be gained by cutting him or trading him for a 7th round pick. How ridiculous. Not only did CJ just come off two very good games he is going to paid for the rest of the season even if he gets cut and we don't have anything backing him up.
Chris Johnson will cost us $12M next year, unless he annihilates the next 9 opponents, there's no justifying that contract of his.
No, no, no... Before last night, Martin did not live up to expectations. He was reportedly one of the rookies who had a stellar training camp and was expected to be a Ray Rice type RB right away. I like Martin... and I honestly felt the same way about him. But before last night, let's face it... he hadn't been very good.
