At least there wont be anymore excuses on offense if these guys can block as good as everyone says they can!

The reality is, besides Warmack and some packages for Hunter, I doubt we see any contribution from this draft class beyond special teams. What we need to hope is that the free agents signed make immediate contributions.

Talking heads have been saying Schwenke has a real shot to start at C and Wrey-Wilson could compete for outside corner in the nickel package. That's best case scenario though. I really like what all those free agents can bring right away though.

I think our 6th round corner will wind up being the best corner we drafted!

Here's my grades, didn't post anything initially... as I like to let the draft class sink in a little.

Warmack: B+ | Many scouts had Warmack in the Top-5 overall board. He's one of the best OGs to come out in many years. A true dominant powerful run blocker, however for me it's hard to take guards in the Top-10. RG was our biggest need at the time. I prefered Star Lotulelei, but i'm not angry we took Warmack. Solid, but boring pick - but our OL should be very much improved. I thought we were going to shock everyone and take Vaccaro.

Hunter: C+ | The grade isn't anything against Hunter, it's the fact that we traded up. Tank Carradine, Robert Woods, & Johnthan Banks were all available at 40 (our original draft spot). Instead we traded up and lost a 2013 3rd. We pulled a trade similar to this when we traded a future 2nd for a 3rd and took Cook, that 2nd turned into Gronk. I would of been happy with either of those 3 named above and potential risked Hunter falling to our 2nd. Overall, Hunter was my #2 WR with only DeAndre Hopkins infront of him.

Wreh-Wilson: B+ | Damontre Moore looked good, but CB was a bigger need. Wreh-Wilson is a physical CB that can press at the line. He's still a little raw, but is a smart player and has a shot of starting.

Gooden: A | Another fast LB to pair up with ZB. Our only backup OLBs was Patrick Bailey, LB depth was HUGE at this point. Gooden/ZB may be our passing situations LBs and provided excellent athleticism.

Schwenke: A+ | We got my #2 center in the 4th round, impressive. He's athletic and physical. Seems to know his football in interviews and loves the game. Future starting center for years, and may beat Velasco Year 1 for a job. Great pick.

Edwards: B+ | DE was a huge need still, Edwards may be our rotational 3rd defensive end. Good in the run game, average in the pass game. Was stuck behind some stars at LSU. Had setbacks with Katrina and life in general, however reports are he's a hardworking kid and has good body size.

Wooten: C+ | Jordan Poyer was still on the board, a projected 3rd rounder. We fell in love with Wooten, as we used one of thirty visits on a projected 7th rounder. He's a physical jamming CB, and has potential (with time) to become a starter. Just asked McCourty, Finnegan, and Cary Williams what it's like to be a late round Titans CB draft pick.

Stafford: C+ | Didn't know much about him. Watched a few highlights and he loves to hit. He'll likely be a practice squad guy, unless he beats Markelle Martin for a job.

    Overall: 3.21 GPA

they had better let that C play if he wins the spot.

I'd love to see him win the job but can't remember when a rookie C taken outside the first or second round stepped into a starting job.

With all the 3-4 defenses the Titans will see early, I think Velasco has a big advantage.
