Mathieu stays hurt. So will Peppers if he tries to tackle anyone. He's a punt returner at best. He's got speed but not much else. Can you imagine him trying to tackle DH?

 

Fisher gained more control by moving to St Louis. Part of his reason for leaving, and part of the reason he went there. Guess he didn't get enough.

 

I love talking about the draft, but it's definently too early. The team this year reminds me of the Giants not too long ago, built in a way that struggles during the regular season, but can make noise during the post season with a solid rushing attack. go ahead now, tell me how I'm insane for connecting those 2 teams lol.

 

considering DH made Ramsey look stupid & Jalen Ramsey is a future pro-bowl DB, I think that's not a fair comparison. Mathieu's injuries have been more freak related. Remember the Cards also have Deonne Buchannon who is a stud, and Mark Barron in St Louis is a stud as well. Both JPeppers comparisons

 

I watched his hilites against cupcakes. Not impressed, except with his punt returns. Reminds me of Pacman with that false step.

 

They blew it in the sense that they took him because they thought he was ahead of Wentz in his experience and that he could start from day 1 and Wentz would need a year or two (like Mariota...lol)!

To be fair, it's not so much on Goff as much as the gm/coaching staff making the wrong choice at the wrong time. It sounds like they took Goff - not because they think he has more upside, but because they could start him from Day 1 and have a good season making those picks next year hurt less. But when Goff isn't ready to start and Wentz is playing...that's a problem!

Goff may just need time and reps but this years plan backfired!

 

Yes, the same other secondary players who are 205-210 lbs...which are most secondary players.
