Nice pick, great value.
I think we should have someone take over the team if we can find someone OR we vote on the picks whenever his spot comes up.
Ah...yeah, I figured a smart person building a real team would take him but someone looking for a 'name guy' would not. He's a good player!
I was actually surprised that Stevie J was still there because I thought he had made a name for himself with his breakout season.
But, then I got greedy and figured I could still nab him later if he slid that far already.
But, Maclin is a pretty good consolation prize.
You stole my deep sleeper CB.
Grimes is very underrated pro-bowl CB coming off a breakout season.
Great value pick.
How is a Pro Bowl CB under-rated and a sleeper??? Especially since he played in the playoffs against a high powered passing attack!
Thanks! I like him. He's a leader, can tackle, can cover, can sack you, can force fumbles. What's not to like?
Perfit fit for my D and for whatever round I took him in.
Observation: it doesn't look like anyone is running a pure Cover 2 scheme, although some players who are Cover 2 specialists have gone to other teams (Bethea, Tillman, Urlacher).
On Finnebosch: I had another idea, that being that we each pick one player for him to make up nine of his picks. It would go faster than voting on every one of them and would still be fair if we all honestly tried to give him good players.
Thoughts on that idea vs. voting on each position?
Because he was still available in the 17th(?) round of our draft.
Even outside of our draft, if you ask the casual if they know who Brent Grimes or Stevie Johnson are I bet more will know Stevie J then Brent Grimes. (I also doubt the casual fan would even know that Grimes was a pro-bowl CB)
Hence underrated sleeper pro-bowl CB.
You just like to disagree with me.
