eh, I could see this backfiring on them. I wouldn't be too impressed if I was a 360 only owner.

Yea PS3 wasn't that impressive either. Looks like an awful year for gaming.

It's about the only thing, aside from Vita, I got excited about. Well that and The Old Republic CG movies, they're just epic

Ever since playing the GoW 3 beta, I've got back into playing Gears.

At the moment for me (when I'm online), it's GoW 2, FIFA 11, and Netflix.

Ms still needto focus on the core gamers. Stuffing gears and halo down their throats wont last forever. Once they lose the core gamers theres no going back imo.

Basically Microsofts E3 ignored 80% of their user base (The 40 million who don't have Kinect) and right now they're not enticing core gamers to buy their product since they are relying on Halo, Gears, Forza, Fable and multi-plats.

well to be fair to MS the 360 sales stalled until Kinect came out. maybe they topped out with hardcore gamers and decided to grab some of Nintendos fanbase. seems to have worked. but they gonna have to balance the two.
