    once again, HBO delivers a quality series
    Eastbound & Down
    Kenny Powers is baseball's Ricky Bobby (Talladega Nights) Will Ferrell is an executive producer
    stereotypical redneck, self-absorbed has been flick with a good steady flow of hilarious
    just plan on watching it with headphones if anywhere near the wife and kids, language is more subtle, but on par with Deadwood
    even though it has it's moment of lame, the lol's are frequent
    this will probably be a love it or hate it show for most, but if you get the humor, you'll probably have a good time with it

    Watched this last night. The formula is there for a good show. Although I didn't laugh a whole lot I'll keep watching. Apatow meets My Name is Earl with lots of cussin'..

    I think I read somewhere that they won't be doing this show for long, because they don't want to have to hire a writing staff.

    Tonight's show was the darkest yet ... Stevie starting to become more like Kenny. LOL!

    why would they need to hire writers ?
    hell, the creators are all friends, and McBride writes, acts, produces the show ... it seems to be working well
