  1. Eddie George has no place in the HOF. I think he probably would have if not for the reconstructive toe surgery, but he was never the same after 2000. He was a great power runner for 5 years, but in 2001 he was being outplayed by the likes of Skip Hicks (who never played in the NFL again after he left the Titans).

he balled in 07, and still reached 0ver 1000 yards in 08 riddled with injuries, and on the fewest carries hes had in his career

That should have nothing to do with whether or not a player get into the HOF.

Because if you're going to keep player's out of the Hall of Fame based on never winning a Super Bowl (in this case), Canton would be without NFL greats such as Dan Fouts, Earl Campbell, Warren Moon, Bruce Matthews and Dan Marino. Just to name a few.

And, then if you keep those players out, maybe we could just go ahead make it the Hall of Steelers, Cowboys, Patriots and 49ers and other Champions.

I think George has a good chance. I'm more concerned for if Mac9 will get in. He was reallya great qb. And if any1 says he wasn't then there crazy seeing as he tied with peyton manning for mvp. Which is huge. sorry to get off topic fellas,

  5. Neither has a realistic chance to get in

Fraid not, sir. Bruce Mathews is the only man to wear a Titans Jersey so far that will be a HOF player.

No he did not ball in 07. Stats never tell the full picture. He had a huge drop off from a career year in 06.He's not been a stand out RB since 06.

Norv Turner is doing his best to sabotage a great RB. Unfortunately for LT Turner is the master of crap coaching.

14 of the backs with 10,000 career rushing yards played in the same era as eddie. All played in that period from 96-2004. All 14 are not going to make the hall.

Ricky watters had 2000 more total yards and 13 more TDs and a ring. He had a monster game in that super bowl.

Edgerrin james has 3000 more total yards than eddie and 13 more TDs.

Corey dillon has more total yards, more rushing yards and a ring.

Tiki barber has similar rushing yardage to eddie and double the pass receiving yards.

Warrich dunn and fred taylor are also ahead of eddie in rushing yardage.

All 6 of these guys have to go if eddie does.

It's already been done larry johnon 416 carries in 2006.

And while eddie's durability can be complimented it was totally stupid for him to get that many carries. He wasn't the same after that. No back should ever get more than 350 carries in any season in my opinion.
