Look it up yourself smarty. Don't drop a poop on the truth.

    In the spirit of education:

A one-syllable adjective becomes a superlative simply by taking the suffix -est. So tall becomes tallest, brave becomes bravest, sweet becomes sweetest and yes, dumb becomes dumbest.

Two-syllable words that end in y become superlatives by losing the y and taking the suffix -iest.So happy becomes happiest and drafty becomes draftiest.

Two-syllable words that don't end in y, and also words of more than two syllables, don't change at all but instead take the adverb most. So unexpected becomes most unexpected, cravenbecomes most craven and accomplished becomes most accomplished.

One must take care not to combine methods two and three. One often hears the mistake "most happiest," for example. This is not correct. Nor, for instance, is the construction "stupidest," which I suspect might be at the root of your disagreement (and which is often used ironically, as the word "stupidest," by being incorrectly formed, is itself kind of stupid).

    Jerome Bettis vs Eddie George...

Bettis is a hall of famer. He had 31% more career rushing yards than Eddie. Both are contemporaries and power backs. But let's look at some other stats and see how they stack up.

    First down %
    Bettis 21%
    Eddie 18.2%

    Touchdowns %
    Bettis 2.6%
    Eddie 2.3%

    Runs 20 yards or more..
    Bettis 1.4%
    Eddie 1.29%

    Yards per carry
    Bettis 3.9
    Eddie 3.6

In every category Bettis is better.

Rugby is dictated by position. It's rare to see a big prop or second row making tackles on a fly half or fullback. Most players mark the other players. Besides, in rugby, you aren't padded up like the NFL, and you can't throw shoulders at people - you actually have to tackle them. Different deal entirely.

    Naw.

I hate that he gets that "he played hurt" excuse so much.

    If he played great... nothing.

If he played bad... HE WAS HURT!

Especially when for a chunk of that time he was killing the team playing hurt. Was playing like garbage while Volek would come in and kill it.

But Eddie even being nominated is an accomplishment. Didn't think that'd happen.

He nor Steve's career warrant HOF consideration.

Have you been lobotomized? I write a totally factual post with real stats and you give the post a BS. What was BS about it genius?

This is not about feelings and emotions. It is about reality. So please itemize what in that post you think is bull.

Hate to say it but agree with you to some extent. The excuse for his mediocre play in the 2003 playoff against the Pats was a bad ankle. Again this is all about emotions.

I thought our English friend was going to have a breakdown talking about Steve's toughness but you can't just play you have to deliver to be in the hof.

Steve Mcnair's playoff passing rating is 66.7. That s not hall of fame caliber!

Here is a true story. McNair was beat up and Fisher wanted to get him healed, so for a MNF game with the Jets he told Volek he was going to start. Volek was thrilled, and bought his parents tickets and flew them up to the game from California. After warmups McNair told Fisher he wanted to go, so Fisher let him play, even though he could have used the week off for a divisional game later. Long story short, McNair played and threw 3 INT's, and Volek never got in.
