I have a hard time thinking he has a shot over Tebow and the other QB talent out there but he'll likely be drafted before any of them.
I've thought he's the best player for a long time now. The University of Tennessee could use this for several reasons, but here is the question; is Eric Berry a.k.a "The Fifth Dimension" Charles Woodson good? If people believe so then he can take the Heisman. I'm tired of hearing about USC, Ohio State and other schools with multiple Heisman winners. To bad the Titans don't need another DB right now, or do they. This guy will go waaaaay before we pick next year. I really like this guy for so many reasons. He might even be able to teach Ed Reed a thing or two.
He has a VERY slim chance. I mean a def player has only one it once over what's his name.
But you're right...he will be a very high draft pick. Best DB in the SEC if not the country.
Most overhyped player in SEC... Western Kentucky will come into UT and shock the world first game of the season
... then I woke up and realized it was all just a dream.. darnit.
Had me going there....now that is funny...
If WKU beat UT @ UT, it would without question be bigger than them winning the 2002 I-AA National Championship. I'll have to check out this Berry kid some more, but from what I've seen he looks like one of the better UT products in recent years
Eric Berry is the best safety in the land, if not the best DB.
Sorry, but there's this guy standing in the way of that:
He doesn't make his name on return yards alone.
He won't win, he's one of the Nations best players but I don't expect the Vols to be contenders this year and there are too many voters that hate Lane Kiffin no matter what happens. If he keeps this up he will be at least a top 10 pick next year.
