Eric Decker to be traded or released

Honestly if Davis, Taylor, and Sharpe cant beat out Decker (especially Davis) do we even want them on the field?

 

Did I miss something?

Does Decker all the sudden suck or have the worst injury ever? Just two years ago the dude was a top 5 WR in terms of efficiency... with Fitzpatrick throwing him the ball.

I understand he's older now and has some injury issues, but he would've been easily the best WR on our roster last year. I can't see any harm in signing him.

 

Same here. People worried there ain't enough balls to go around. They act like he was a free agent in March. He is only a free agent cause the Jets are already tanking for a QB in 2018 draft.

 

It's like I said before...They clearly don't believe in Sharpe, and he is injured and possibly will be charged with a crime. That leaves 2 rookies and Matthews (WR wise) to lead. I am not even considering Douglas lol. I think Decker is often injured and spotty with his play, but he would be an upgrade to Sharpe and bring some veteran leadership and experience. I wouldn't hate the move, but I think we we have enough weapons if we don't. We will be fine either way gang!

 

Likewise, really wanted Decker (his gf/wife is a country singer in Nashville too right? But he left without a deal so about time to look elsewhere

 

I think you missed my point. I pro signing Decker. If we sign him and he's better then theu shouldnt be playing.

 

If we were going to sign Decker I think it would of already happened. His file has been updated though.

I wouldn't rule us out based on the timing of things. We have 5 weeks til he's needed for anything

The Browns are in the mix now apparently. If he picks the Browns over us, F*CK him and his wife should leave him

 

If he goes to the Browns after the Jets... I-D-I-O-T
