You have to wonder why Ringer was given a 0.0, presumably because of playing time, while Locker was given a negative ranking. Ringer ****ing sucked, just because he saw the field says nothing of how 'okay' the pick was.

    oh

this came from PFF, why did I even bother?

You know whose elses advice I don't take? Anything from a bathroom stall, which is basically what PFF is.

It seems like they are factoring in where the player was drafted. Locker was an 8th overall pick whereas Ringer was a (I believe) 5th round pick. Basically a lot more is expected out of an 8th overall pick than what Jake has provided.

So Dominique Edison is a 0 but Myron Rolle is -.5.

    Why?

How is Rusty Smith not a total waste? He barely played and when he did he was awful.

Kuharsky has also taken issue with the rankings:

How did the Titans draft from 2009 to 2011?

At Pro Football Focus, Khalid Elsayed runs through the franchise's haul of players and puts them into categories largely based on how they scored in PFF’s grading system.

I think he’s mostly on the mark with the seven guys at the top of the list and he gives weight to where a guy was selected as well as his production.

But the 0.0 guys who fit in the “It Could Have Been Worse” tier get largely generous treatment.

No matter how late they were drafted, it’s hard to say the Titans could have done worse than receiver Dominique Edison (two snaps in his one season), safety Nick Schommer (five snaps), safety Robert Johnson (never effective) or quarterback Rusty Smith (who never challenged for the No. 2 job in four seasons).
