So... you purposely shoot someone but can still call it "accidental"? Seems convenient.
That doesn't even make sense.
Do you honestly believe the cops in question started off their day with the intentions of purposely shooting innocent civilians and claiming it was an accident?
These kind of things happen all the time. It wouldn't have even made much of a head line in LA if there wasn't so much media attention on Dorner. Rather its a situation like this or a cop that shoots a kid pointing a bb gun/toy gun at him/her.
Like it or not it wasn't intentional to harm civilians but it happened. Now those cops are gonna be looking for a new kob and the civilians are gonna be living in a new home and driving around in a new car with their settlement money.
in all likleyhood the cops will be off the street for a while then quietly back on their jobs in just a short while. And the settlement money, if any, will be years upon years away
Doesn't matter if they started their day with the intention or not. They did it. Period. And they were allowed to.
OH SNAP TE GETTIN' SRS IN HUR.
I never said they didnt do it. I never said they were not gonna be punished for it nor did I say they didn't deserve to be punished.
If you think the LAPD railroaded Dorner for filing a false report against his TO, you havent seen **** yet. When they get through throwing these cops under the bus, their gonna think they have been ****ed by a train.
These guys won't be back on the streets and it wont take years for that payout money. The city of LA and the LAPD are gonna want this crap put to rest and behind them asap.
I hope your right
1. "I think the guy was a pretty clear cut serial killer"
2. his story sounds believable
3. to change things target one person
Not one thing of this makes a hill of beans sense. The guy was a nut job that shouldn't have been a cop to begin with. DOES EVERY BODY GET THAT. So we are talking about a guy complaining of discrimination when he is not evee fit for the job he has. There is no justification to begin with. He shot innocent people and killing people doesn't change a fing thing. Has our society just gone brain dead? This guy was a blue ribbon buttwipe.
Of course then there is the ridiculous, totally brain dead idea that because this involved cops there is some kind of justification to using violence. Why shouldn't some guy, a nut job, that missed getting promoted a fliping McDonalds not have the same justification? OH, because these guys are cops and wear badges and guns it is OK to gun them down. WAKE UP PEOPLE.
And finally, if there is a guy wholed up in a cabin and you know he has:
1. already killed people
2. has every intention of taking as many more as he can
3. is armed to the teeth
you burn his arse and in no way allow another individual with family and loved ones to become a vicitm to this worthless piece of trash that isn't worth the time of this thread. If that is my father, brother, child who is going in there and potentially getting their head blown off do you seriously care about the POS or your loved one?
Popeye's, no contest
Trouble is it is very hard to do it in moderation.
