So do you think we will have any more extensions coming down the pike??? The only player that I could really see getting one would be Wright. If you were going to extend him what sort of deal would you offer him??? Both Marvin Jones and Travis Benjamin got 13mil guaranteed in their new deals this offseason....with Jones' contract worth 8mil per yr and Benjamin worth 6mil per yr.

I would see if Wright would bite on a deal like Benjamin's 4yr and 24mil with 13mil guaranteed.

I'm not a big Wright fan, but understand the importance of having a solid slot WR along with the importance of building chemistry with our young QB. I like the idea of having Wright and Walker locked in for several more years.

Let's hope not, unless it's on the cheap.

He, so far at least, has been injured just about the time he seems to ready to break out. Seems fragile.

He played in 10 games last season. But he has been the best WR this team has for the last few years. Nothing says fragile. He isn't just falling down with no contact. The team has been a mess. Give it time. Wright is a very good receiver who just hasn't had much to work with.

At this point in time I still have faith Wright can be a good WR for us if we let him be. I mean not like the QB play has been consistent since he's been here...

Generally if a team takes the 5th year option on a guy that usually means they'd like to make a long term deal happen, but since that was under the last management it's tough to say.

He has played only one full season so far. He is often injuresd and or "nicked" up and having to come off the field. Average at best IMO.

Eh, he's not a "game changer" but he is a solid young slot receiver we should keep around.

If things are going right around him he can make an impact. With the state of the entire team the last few seasons, it's been hard for anyone to stand out above the mess.

If Mathews and DGB or SOMEONE can emerge as a outside threat Wright can do work in the slot where he belongs.

I have a feeling his own opinion of himself and his actual market value is quite different. I see him hitting the market after this season.

Better off saving that money and extending DGB after this season.
