FA wishlist

The Titans say "they may run some 3-4 looks" and other interesting things.. But it'll probably be a boring front four rush every play lol

 

You and me both brother. I mean we paid Chris Hope top safety money, why not Landry? As for Mario, he'll be a lot more expensive, but he'd def fix the pass rush issues. Even though he may not be putting up huge sack numbers, he'd still get doubled alot and open up one v one blocks for our other DL, and he'd still probably get double digit sacks.

Calais Campbell DE (3-4 or 4-3 DE)

Erin Henderson will OLB (would give us the ability to have a 3-4 LB corp)

this list will grow as I have time to look into it further. These are some of the guy I thing could really contribute and at a fair price.

My resign list is
COURTLAND FINNEGAN team captain, fan favorite and wants to stay
Lavelle Hawkins might turn out to be a keeper
Malcom Sheppard RFA
Fernando Velasco RFA
Tim Shaw pretty much just special teams
Michael Griffin FS just because we can't get better right now
Jason Jones move him back to DT please on passing downs
Jordan Babineaux SS we need a Vet and knows what we are trying to do

 

We need to stay away from Campbell, not only will he be expensive, but he will also not improve our pass rush. One of the more over rated defensive players of the last few years in my opinion.

 

Rumors today are that the Redskins are going to franchise Fred Davis and let Landry hit free agency.

Another name to watch that I mentioned in another thread is Cliff Avril. Sounds like the Lions won't have enough money to re-sign him. He could certainly be worth a look.

 

Can someone provide the start and end date for FA? Maybe a link that shows all the dates for the offseason?

 

Feb 20th - Franchise Tag/Transition Tags can be applied to players.
Feb 22nd - The NFL Combine.
March 5th - last day for Franchise Tags/Transition Tags.
March 13th - Free Agency starts
April 26th - NFL Draft

I just heard that Nick Hardwick is considering retirement... lame. I wanted us to sign him, but not anymore. His heart's obviously not in it now.
