The UD Trilogy stuff is nice. It has some pretty sweet looking, short printed auto/patch cards too.

The fact that I buy almost all of my cards through US based sellers and the Canadian dollar is worth $1.10US (as opposed to being worth the $0.75US that it was last year) has really made some cards hard to pass on.

I would have bought the BGS 9.5 SPA Jones 4/5 at anypoint regardless of currency exchange rate... just wish AJ was going to be on the field for a few games this year. But I guess the Führer has ruled that out.

They'll be worth more sure, but he's a Titan, nobody but us, the sick few, give a crap about the Titans (and I wouldn't have it any other way).

    This arrived yesterday.

    PW 07 UD Trilogy 016/133

I really like this card, extra sharp looking design printed on a clear plastic acetate.

I also scanned up a couple of oldies but goodies from my collection...

One of the more under-rated guys in franchise history

    William Fuller 84 Topps USFL
    [IMG]
he played on that amazing Philadelphia Stars team with Reggie White, Sam Mills etc. before joing the awesome Oilers D-line with guys like Ray Childress, Sean Jones, Lee Williams, Doug Smith etc. As time passes these USFL cards are getting tough to find.

And finally the man whose name at the time was misspelled almost as often as Favre's.

A couple of new arrivals hit my mailbox on Thursday...

Steve McNair 1995 Score Artist's Proof
    [IMG]
The card is actually silver foil (it's actually pretty nice looking but foil cards don't seem to scan very well). These were an incredibley tough pull. Artist's Proofs were seeded one per box and with a set that was well over 300 cards in size, pulling the stevie McNine was next to impossible. This card used to easily sell for $50 back in his MVP days... I snagged this one for $0.99 plus shipping.

    Warren Moon 1992 Bowman Foil
    [IMG]
This was a short printed card in a set that was always tough to find (these were the days before eBay). The card border is shiny gold foil which again scanned for ****. I've decided to go back and start grabbing some 1990 - 1994 Moon cards, I've actually got a huge collection of his stuff from back then, but hardly any of it is scanned.

Michael Griffin 2007 SP Threads Draft Day Ink

Cool sideline pic back from college days, otherwise not overly exciting; just another Griff graph for the collection.

Continuing with the theme of adding to my old Warren Moon collection. This arrived today; a 91 Pro Set Spanish Houston Oilers team set or should i say

Petroleros De Houston! (I'd love to get a t-shirt with that)

We don't learn Spanish in Canada (we have French forced upon us). The position names are cool (but quarterback is universal I guess). I love making oddball additions to the collection like this.

PS: I think Michi would like these.
PPS: "We have French forced upon us" :gag: ooops
