Fan Pressure to Sign Finny

You think pro football teams do guys favors? No, they knew he had something to offer so they drafted him. It's worked out really well for both sides and nothing says it won't going forwards. Hopefully Cortland doesn't try holding the team hostage with terrorist-like demands. I'd love to be able to retain him, and build on whats already in place.

All we need to do is weed out the weak spots and sign a few guys like Cortland back and we'll be good in 2012.

Of course not. They drafted him to help the team, it's just as silly to expect us to pay him because he has been loyal.

 

Finny is 1 year removed from being voted one of the dirtiest players out there.He has created his own market.Let him go get offers and see what he is worth.I like him,but a long term deal for a 28yr old corner sounds like disaster for a salary cap.

 

A 4 year deal would be fine

 

Gotta resign finny. You don't get better by letting your best players and leaders go.

Since when do corners have to be young to be good? lol. If we let Finnegan go, so we can make a big FA signing we're going down the wrong road. That's not how good teams are built.
