Probably not what you were looking for, but as far as song lyrics go you can't go wrong with Cole Porter. I love this tongue in cheek Porter classic; like most of his music it's almost annoyingly catchy and has great timeless lyrics poking fun at people's obsession with the loss of old fashioned values. In 1934 people were bemoaning profanity, promiscuity and the lack of morality in art and it's effects on society... now fast forward to 2007 and similar beefs regarding lurid lyrics, graphic videos games, promiscuity etc. Some things change, other not so much.
